![]() This seems like an obvious play for Netflix, especially now that the co-creators are not doing the live-action project. I would also be on board for a direct Korra sequel that showcases her relationship with Asami. ![]() What would the show be? There are plenty of Avatar stories attached to characters that played out in additional comics, or this could be a third entirely unique series, either a sequel about a new Avatar after Korra, or perhaps a prequel, about one of the many, many Avatars before Aang or Korra (I’m not a fan of prequels, but I’ll take what I can get). Though Korra was written without him, so it’s clear this could still work. The second factor is that one of the reasons the original Avatar went so well was because of head writer Aaron Ehasz’s work, and he’s now attached to four more seasons of The Dragon Prince for Netflix already. First is what’s going on with the rights to Avatar as a series, and whether those would have to be purchased from or shared with Nickelodeon to make that happen (not that Netflix couldn’t afford it).
